Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) provides you with 100% oxygen (unlike the 21% oxygen found in the air we breathe) in a chamber or compartment with increased pressure.



The surgical procedure to remove your gallbladder is called cholecystectomy. Please refer to the figure below.

Cholecystectomy is done due to gallstones causing pain and infection. The pain is referred to in medicine as biliary colic, a sudden pain in the abdomen caused by spasm or blockage of the cystic or bile duct.
